FIRST TECH OPEN CHESS TOURNEY ON SATURDAY

The first Virginia Tech Open Chess Tournament will be held on Saturday at the Blacksburg Community Center. Registration will be from 8 to 8:30 a.m.

The tournament is open to anyone. It is sponsored by the Virginia Tech Chess Club and is sanctioned by the United States Chess Federation. For more information, call Chad Johnson at 232-6878, Nader Goubran at 951-2943, or Sam Shah at 232-5073.
