RADFORD EARTH DAY ACTIVITIES ANNOUNCED

The city of Radford will hold an Earth Day festival at Bisset Park on Saturday.

Activities will include learning games for children, storytelling, Native American music and dances, and information booths providing links between concerned citizens and environmental organizations.

Speakers, natural-food vendors, and bands including Upland Express will be part of the festival. Recyclables also will be collected.

Festivities will begin at 10 a.m. For more information, call 639-3255. The event is sponsored by the Radford Earth Day Committee.
