Auditions will begin at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Building. No experience is necessary and all ages are invited to try out.
This season's first play is "Eleemosynary," a script by Lee Blessing directed by Roger Bedard, associate theater arts professor. This drama about the conflicts between generations, has roles for three women: a grandmother, a mother and a daughter.
The second play is Tina Howe's "Coastal Disturbances," a summer-love story set at the shore. David Johnson, assistant professor of theatre arts, will direct. Three men and four women, ranging in age from young adults to senior citizens, and a young girl and boy are needed for these roles.
Both plays will be performed at Playhouse 460 beginning June 14 through 17.
