SUPPORT NEEDED FOR RECYCLING

I HOPE valley residents will fully support the recycling programs of local governments and businesses. Support is essential if we seriously want to begin the cleanup of the valley. All it would take is a little extra effort on our behalf to make a difference.

Along with these cleanup efforts, we need more public education on the reasons for, and damage done by, pollution. A lot of this damage cannot be undone.

Our society needs to realize that convenience is not always healthy for us in the long run. We also need to move away from the "use it once, throw it away" ideal. I feel we need to learn consideration for this planet before it becomes too late for its recovery.
