WILDER TO ADDRESS HIGH SCHOOL GRADS

Gov. Douglas Wilder will speak at the graduation exercises at James Monroe High School in June.

Laura Dillard, the governor's press secretary, said it is the only high school commencement address Wilder has agreed to this year. The brother of the school's principal is Bobby Northern, a special assistant to Wilder.

"It's really exciting for us, for a school our size," said Principal Danny Northern.

James Monroe's graduation exercises will be held June 14 at Mary Washington College's Dodd Auditorium here.
