EXCHANGE PROGRAM SEEKS HOST FAMILIES

A French exchange program, Loisirs Culturels a l'Etranger, has established ties with the Roanoke Valley and is looking for families interested in hosting students for a month this summer.

The students, all between the ages of 13 and 19, speak English and have their own spending money and insurance. Host families provide room and board and are expected to include the students in their activities and family life during the month-long stay.

About 20 students have applied for the Roanoke program, and will arrive in two groups - one in July and one in August. For more information, call Dagmar Schramm at 989-7865.
