OBIT-BARTON, L.

Laura Foster Barton, age 84, of 1021 Ruddell Road, Vinton, passed away Wednesday in a local hospital. She was the widow of Ellis H. Barton. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Bobby G. and Pat Barton, of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Mary R. Wright, Vinton; Mrs. Vera Williamson, Bedford County; grandchildren, Gregory N. and wife Tammy Barton, Vinton; Cynthia B. and husband Cameron McGuire, Richmond; great-grandchildren, Brendan, Devin, Quinn McGuire, all of Richmond; Laura and Lyndsey Barton, Vinton. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, April 21, 1990, from the Vinton Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bill Ross and the Rev. Lewis Bates officiating. Burial to follow in Barnhardt Baptist Church Cemetery, Stewartsville. Friends may call at Lotz Vinton Chapel.
