CHRISTIANSBURG - Ida Mae Arrington Altizer, age 88, died Tuesday, April 17, 1990. She was the widow of C. S. Altizer and is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Stanlia A. Wirt, Camden, S.C.; two sisters, Katherine A. Bishop, New Jersey; Mabel A. Munsey, Tazwell; a brother, W. Reid Arrington, Christiansburg; several grand and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday from the graveside in Sunset Cemetery conducted by Dr. Maurice T. McCarthy, Jr. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Friday evening at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
