CHRISTIANSBURG - Estel H. (Jack) Minnick, age 40, of Fairview St., died Thursday, April 19, 1990, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. He was an employee of V.P.I. & S.U. and LRC Broadcast Services. Surviving are his sisters, brothers and spouses: Frances I. Mitchem, Tallahassee, Fla.; Helen M. Martin, Inez M. and Garland J. Edwards, Fearnnie M. Luckadoo, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas B. Minnick, Doris D. Minnick, and Samuel E. Luckadoo, all of Christiansburg; Mr. and Mrs. Jackson Minnick, Salem; Sylvia C. Minnick, Hampton; nieces, Beatrice Smith, Tallahassee, Fla.; Nancy Sack, Vienna, Va.; Theresa Harless and Lauren Roop, both of Christiansburg; Sharon Barnes, New Kent County; Stacy Minnick, Salem; nephews, R. S. Minnick, Jr. and Daniel T. Minnick, both of Hampton; John Arthur Minnick, Newport News; Bruce Edward Minnick, U.S. Air Force; Steven P. Minnick, Donald Andrew Martin and Timothy Martin, all of Christiansburg; Charles Allen Martin, Connecticut; numerous extended family and close friends. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday from the Richardson-Horne Chapel conducted by the Rev. Richard H. Horne with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday evening at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
