ORIOLES CUT OFF SEASON-TICKET SALES

For the first time in club history, the Baltimore Orioles have cut off season-ticket sales to keep enough quality seats on sale for single-game purchasers, the club has announced.

The Orioles sold a record 15,000 season tickets this year, eclipsing the 1984 record of 11,738. Memorial Stadium seats 53,371 for baseball. Tickets for the remaining Orioles' games are on sale through several systems.
