RADFORD - William Randall (Chip) Wright, Jr., age 22, died Friday in Charlotte, N. C. Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Judith M. and Perry G. Gorham of Hardy; his father and stepmother, Randy and Lynn Wright of Radford; one sister, Michelle (Misty) Wright of Roanoke; two brothers, Lucas Wright and Jacob Wright, both of Radford; two stepsisters, Belle Gorham, Atlantic City, N.J.; and Becky Gorham, Charlotte, N. C.; his paternal grandfather, Rex Wright, Baltimore, Md.; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow McCall, West Palm Beach, Fla. and Mr. and Mrs. Grover Moore, Marion. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Grove United Methodist Church with the Rrv. E. H. Lovell and Will Robbins officiating. Interment will follow in the Slemp Cemetery, Sugar Grove. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Radford High School Substance Abuse Program (Cadre). The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home.
