MARION - Mr. James Straley Livesay, age 80, died Sunday, April 22, 1990, in Smyth County Community Hospital. He was a member of Marion Baptist Church, a retired employee of Brunswick Corp. and a Mason. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edith Spencer Livesay of Marion; one son, Gail Livesay of Marion; one sister, Mrs. Mary Graybeal of Cochranville, Pa.; three grandchildren, Mike Livesay, Ronnie Richardson, and Monica Powers; two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Marion Baptist Church with the Rev. James G. Pickens and the Rev. William L. Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
