SUPPORTS MCCADDEN FOR SCHOOL BOARD

FOR SEVERAL years, I had the pleasure of working with Delvis O. "Mac" McCadden on projects designed to promote the Roanoke Valley as a convention and travel destination. His enthusiasm and boundless energy always inspired the rest of the people involved in these enterprises. I know that he is dedicated to building a strong future for the valley.

Once, when I was invited to consult on marketing and public relations with the Harrison Heritage and Cultural Center, I learned of Mac's strong sense of duty to preserving local history and culture. That dedication continues to manifest itself through his activities in Kiwanis.

I support Mac's appointment to the School Board because I know that he cares about the key element of the Roanoke Valley's future - its youth. I am convinced that he will be a valuable addition to the organization that provides guidance for the education of our youth.
