LOWER STAMP COSTS INSTEAD OF RAISING

I DO NOT agree with raising the cost of postage stamps. The government will discourage people from writing a letter. With the new Fax machines, the secretaries won't want or need to write a letter.

Forty years ago, stamps were 5 cents, and they have gone up 20 cents so far. Pretty soon it will be cheaper to call about the news than to write about it. Also, you cannot send a picture over the phone.

Instead of raising the prices, I would lower them. It would be a good way for the government to let people know that it is important to write a letter.
