INDUSTRIALIST LLOYD MILLER DIES

Industrialist Lloyd I. Miller, a horseman, former part owner of the Cincinnati Reds and U.S. ambassador to Trinidad and Tobago, died Sunday at his home in Naples, Fla. He was 66.

One of Miller's horses, Dark Mirage, was 3-year-old champion filly in 1968.

Miller was ambassador to the Caribbean nation of Trinidad and Tobago from 1973 to 1975. He was a director of several Cincinnati-area corporations, and a former chairman of Vulcan International, whose Vulcan Corp. manufactures shoes, sports and plastics products.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine. She said a memorial service would be held in Cincinnati, but arrangements were incomplete.
