NEW TELEPHONE SERVICE

The deaf and hearing impaired can now contact Shenandoah National Park through the use of a telecommunication device called TDD.

TDD works like a typewriter and allows communication with others who have access to a TDD machine.

The park has also announced a new number for making reservations at Big Meadows Campground. It's (900) 370-5566.

Reservations can be made up to eight weeks in advance for overnight stays from May 25-October 29.
