Mr. William Odell Barbour, age 87, died Monday evening, April 23, 1990. He was a member and elder of the Rocky Mount Presbyterian Church, and he was employed as shipping foreman of Bald Knob and the Lane Company for forty years. Surviving are his wife, Lee Peters Barbour; one daughter and son-in-law, Gladys and Ralph Windle, Rocky Mount; two sons and daughters-in-law, William Melvin and Leatrice Barbour, Carey Clinton and Gladys Barbour, all of Rocky Mount; three grandchildren, Lonnie Barbour, Leesa Overfelt, and Eric Barbour; four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Rosetta Jamison, Callaway; Beulah Williams, Pa.; Dorothy Smith, Salem; Irene Cedarleaf, N.Y.; one brother, Luther Barbour, Miss. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in Lynch Chapel, with the Rev. Denny Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, where the family will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
