OBIT MORGAN, B.

Betty Thomas Morgan, age 54, passed away Sunday, April 22, 1990, in Slidell, La. She was born May 14, 1936, in Bedford County, a daughter of Elizabeth A. Thomas and the late William H. Thomas. She was preceded in death by a son, Billy (B.T.) Thomas, and a brother, William (Tommy) A. Thomas. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Tanga Fitzgibbon, Washington, D.C.; Dana Marie Thomas, Roanoke; one son, Joe E. Sexton, U.S. Navy, Charleston, S.C.; five grandchildren. A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date in the Greenwood Cemetery, Bedford. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home, Bedford.
