SUTHERLAND, JACQUALYN B.

Jacqualyn B. (Jackie) Sutherland, born April 29, 1922, of 145 Hillcrest Drive, died April 23, 1990, in a Roanoke hospital. She was a member of the Rocky Mount Presbyterian Church and was past Worthy Matron of Rocky Mount Chapter #141 O.E.S. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, George William and Gayle Sutherland, Hardy; Jack Edwin and Elizabeth Sutherland, Falls Church; one daughter and son-in-law, Sandra Kay and Charles Crawford, Rocky Mount; two grandsons, George William Sutherland, II, Falls Church; Joel Christopher Jamison, Virginia Beach; one granddaughter, Melissa Anne Sutherland, Hardy; three brothers and four sisters-in-law, Benny Paul and Edith Booth, Sanger, Calif.; Bob and Ima Booth, Norwalk, Ohio; James Henry and Carman Booth, Adelphi, Md.; Virginia Booth, Salisbury, N.C.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Billie Joyce and Elmer McNeely, Williamson, W.Va.; Jo Ann and Don Ovack, Springfield; a special friend, Zoe Stennett, Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in Lynch Chapel by the Rev. M. G. Goodpasture and Mr. Joe Ben Jamison, III, followed by services by Rocky Mount Chapter #141 O.E.S. Interment will follow in Warfield Cemetery, Warfield, Ken., at 6:00 p.m. Thursday. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home after 3:00 p.m. Wednesday where the family will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
