ROANOKE STEEL PLANT PROBES QUARTERLY LOSS

Trinity Industries, a Dallas company operating a steel plant on Hollins Road in Northeast Roanoke, said a preliminary review of its inventory showed a shortage of $2.9 million in the fourth quarter, ending March 31. The company said it is trying to determine if a loss occurred and if so, the precise amount.
