NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue announced the appointment of Dr. John A. Lombardo as the league's first steroids adviser. The job is separate from the drug adviser post from which Dr. Forest Tennant resigned two months ago. Another adviser dealing with street drugs will be named later.
