MACHER CAN BRING NEW PERSPECTIVE

ALTHOUGH I have no standards for comparing how Roanoke City Council candidate Spanky Macher would perform as a political leader, I do know that different perspectives bring new tastes to old recipes.

Since 1986, Spanky has been one of my most respected and top clients. I am a sculptor who has created more than 100 statues and figures for Spanky, which can be seen in all nine of his and his brother's restaurants. Spanky has never slighted me on a deal or ever attempted to. It's solid; he's always been a "dream come true" customer for me.

In Spanky, I see a man who has worked hard for what he's got, beginning with one small business in Harrisonburg and carefully building one at a time. His creative contributions to the decor of his restaurants as well as his enormous management responsibilities show me that his ability to turn his unique imagination into reality can prove to be a great asset to the people of Roanoke.
