OBIT-YOUNG, P.

\ Paul Douglas Young, age 69, of 1205 13th St., S.E., passed away Friday in a local hospital. He was owner and operator of a Roanoke book store. Surviving are his wife, Frances Fisher Young; one son, Douglas Wayne Young, Troutville; two daughters, Joyce Young Barber, Roanoke County; Loretta Young Page, Vinton; one sister, Iris Y. Sykes, Roanoke; also five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday from the Waverly Place Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Hoffler officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence. Should friends desire contributions may be send to Waverly Place Bus Fund. Lotz Vinton Chapel is charge of arrangements.
