OBIT-LITTLE, A.

\ Avis Pauline Layman Little, age 69, of Roanoke, passed away Friday at her residence. She was the widow of Joseph N. Little, and was a teacher assistant at Fallon Park School for over 24 years. She was a member of Garden City Baptist Church where she taught sunday school for over 30 years. Surviving are a son, Sam J. Little, Roanoke; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert H. (Bob) and Estelle Layman, Roanoke; sister and brother-in-law, Louise L. and Thomas E. Asberry, Vinton; twin sister and brother-in-law, Opal L. and Lewis T. Chambers, Roanoke; one nephew, Mike Chambers. Funeral servcies will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 30, 1990, from the Lotz Roanoke Chapel, with the Rev. Don E. McCaskill officiating. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Lotz Roanoke Chapel, Saturday and Sunday.
