The interactive exhibit will trace the 150-year history of information technology and explain how it has changed the ways people live. Approximately 700 artifacts, photos and graphics depict the information industry. Among the objects will be Samuel Morse's telegraphs, the ENIGMA encoder, a World War II military combat information center and an industrial robot.
The exhibit also will house an interactive gallery with more than a dozen video stations and a number of computer-driven video stations.
The museum is at 14th Street and Constitution Avenue N.W. Hours are 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. daily, and admission is free.
