ALPHIN-CHOUINARD

Robin Denise Chouinard and the Rev. Jeffery Scott Alphin were married April 28 at Cave Spring Baptist Church in Roanoke. Dr. Gordon W. Grimes officiated.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Armand Robert Chouinard of Winston-Salem, N.C. She graduated from Parkland Senior High School and with honors from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill with a bachelor's degree in journalism. She is employed at Dominion Bankshares Corp. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Scott Alphin of Richmond and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. D.M. Houseman of Staunton. He graduated from Midlothian High School, Bluefield College and earned his master of divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, N.C. He is minister of youth, singles and recreation at Cave Spring Baptist Church.

Sheila Kennedy Connelly of Beaufort, S.C., was matron of honor. The father of the groom was best man. The couple will make their home in Roanoke.
