\ Clayton H. Hudson, Sr., age 95, of Roanoke, died Saturday, April 28, 1990. He was a member of Greene Memorial United Methodist Church and was an Army veteran of World War I. Mr. Hudson was the son of the late Thomas and Lula Hudson. He was retired from the Times and World-News Corporation with over 40 years of service. Mr. Hudson was an avid hunter and was a member of Big Spring Hunt Club in Burnsville, Va. Surviving are his sons and daughters-in-law, Clayton H., Jr., and Hope F. Hudson; Thomas M. and Elaine H. Hudson; one sister, Hazel H. Mitchell; two sisters-in-law, Frances M. Abell and Sadie M. Wright, all of Roanoke; six grandchildren, Constance, Cynthia, Sara, Susan, Amy and Mitch; nine great-grandchildren. Services will be from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Monday. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel after 12:00 noon Sunday.
