LAW UNNEEDED WHEN MEN ARE RESPONSIBLE
MEN LIKE John Smiley (letter April 23) are the reason laws protecting women
from male hatred were enacted. Once men start facing the responsibility of
fatherhood and help support their own children, then the government will not
need to chase them down. Once men grow up and see that violence is neither
moral nor intelligent, we will no longer need these harsh (?) laws.
