TROUT, JAMES E.

James E. Trout, age 88, of Roanoke, died Monday in a local hospital. He was a member of the Bonsack United Methodist Church, a former employee of American Viscose Corporation, and a retired carpenter. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Annie H. Trout; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert D. and Jeanette Trout; James L. and Faye Trout, all of Roanoke; two daughters and sons-in-law, Hazel T. and Nelson Tate, Danville; Virginia T. and Marvin Chastain, Vinton; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Susie Smith; Mrs. Kathleen Myers, both of Montvale. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, 1990, with the Rev. William E. Hungate and the Rev. William M. Hartsfield officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday.
