OBIT ROBINSON, W.

Mr. Weldon Lee Robinson, Sr., age 64, of 114 Long Island Drive, died Monday, April 30, 1990. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Billy R. Robinson; two daughters and one son-in-law, Diana Alvers, St. Louis, Mo.; Theresa and David Calder, Bedford; one son, W. L. Robinson, Jr., Moneta; one sister, Evelyn Stoyanov, Little Rock, Ark.; one brother, Melvin Robinson, Chicago, Ill.; a special friend, Tim Wells; nine grandchildren; three great-granchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the Lynch Chapel, with the Rev. William Walters officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Burial Park, Roanoke. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home, Rocky Mount, after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, where the family will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials may be made to the Scruggs Rescue Squad, Route 3, Moneta, VA 24121.
