Mrs. Janie David Zeigler, age 73, of Route 1, died Monday, April 30, 1990, in the Rocky Mount hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Bernice Zeigler; and a daughter, Nina Zeigler Davis. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Gary Bowyer, Union Hall; Nancy and Ravon Thurman, Redwood; six sons and four daughters-in-law, Pete and Judy Zeigler, Larry and Carolyn Zeigler, Randy Zeigler, Kenny Zeigler, all of Union Hall; Jimmy and Joyce Zeigler, Glade Hill; Barry and Joyce Zeigler, Pilot; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond and Douglas David, Lowell and Sylvia David, all of Penhook; Carlton and Shirley David, Martinsville; 24 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 stepgrandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in Lynch Chapel, with the Rev. Myles Pierson and the Rev. William Doss officiating. Interment will follow in the family cemetery. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home, Rocky Mount, after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, where the family will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
