Mr. Theodore Silas McGuire, age 78, died Tuesday, May 1, 1990, in a Roanoke hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Huff McGuire. Surviving are four daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Jesse Amos, Rocky Mount; Mary Ann and Charles Whitescarver, Moneta; Ruth and Ralph Peck, Salem; Teresa and Ricky Fralin, Glade Hill; two sons and daughters-in-law, Curtis T. and Mary Lynn McGuire, Rocky Mount; Jerry Lynn and Karen McGuire, Wirtz; 12 grandchildren, Michael, Cheryl, and Michelle Amos; L. T. and Sonia Townes; Crystal and Sarah Peck; Jonathan, Stephanie, Tiffany, and Tyler McGuire; and Dougie Fralin; one sister, Mrs. Elsie Davis, Roanoke; two brothers, Harris McGuire, Wirtz; Johnny McGuire, Hardy. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Thursday in Lynch Chapel, with Elder Larry Hollandsworth and Elder Denver Simpson officiating. Interment will follow in the family cemetery. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, where the family will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friends desiring to do so, may make memorials to the Sandy Level Primitive Baptist Church, Hardy, Va.
