Juanita Thompson Saunders, of 908 Floyd Ave., departed this life on Monday, April 30, 1990, in Lynchburg General Hospital. She is survived by four sons, Samuel Saunders, James Saunders, Richard D. Saunders, Leroy Saunders; five daughters, Mrs. Bernice Goode, Roberta Goode, Lucille Scott, Louise Saunders, and Katherine Saunders; four brothers; two sisters; twenty-one grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three sons-in-law; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Otterville Baptist Church in Bedford County. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Bedford Funeral Home.
