DOMINION SETS UP 48-HOUR LOAN OK

Dominion Bankshares Mortgage Corp. has begun a 48-hour loan approval program for home buyers who make a minimum 20 percent down payment.

A borrower can complete a Dominion loan application at a real estate agent's office and fax it to the mortgage company or the form can be completed at the Dominion mortgage office.

John F. Karaszewski, president of the mortgage company, said financial documentation requirements are less for a loan with 20 percent down, allowing quicker approval. - Staff report
