DR. L.B. MCGUIRE, UVA PROFESSOR, DIES

Dr. Lockhart B. McGuire, a cardiologist and professor of medicine at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, died of cancer on Sunday at his home in Charlottesville. He was 55.

McGuire, a native of Richmond, received his medical degree from the University of Virginia, where he joined the medical school faculty in 1964 and became a full professor in 1974.
