BAD ENGLISH OUTDID WHITESNAKE

I COULDN'T agree more with your review of the Whitesnake concert. The language was more than appalling, and the sexist innuendos were more than I could deal with.

After four songs and more sexual slurs than I could count, I left. It's a sure sign of old age (I'm 31), but why these kids would scream in adoration for a band that insults their "womanhood" is beyond me.

The problem I have with the review is that Ms. Wimmer totally ignored that another band opened the show. Bad English was fantastic. They played off the crowd, enjoyed themselves and never uttered one obscene remark.

Why not accentuate the positive and describe some incredible rock and roll by some wonderfully talented musicians? Whitesnake's Steve Vai and Adrian Vanderburg may have been voted "best guitars" for two years running, but all of the members of Bad English have had long played with the best (Carlos Santana, Sammy Hagar, Michael Botton, Journey, etc.) and do it with the utmost class.
