TECH SET TO PLAY AT CALFEE PARK

Virginia Tech will play the first of three consecutive games at neutral sites when it entertains North Carolina-Charlotte at 3 p.m. Sunday at Calfee Park in Pulaski.

The game will be sponsored by the Pulaski County Hokie Club, which intends to donate a percentage of the gate to Tech's baseball program.

Admission will be $2.50 for adults and $1.50 for children 6-18, with children under 6 years old admitted free. The Hokies' scheduled starter is junior Kirk Goodson from Independence.

The Hokies will meet Duke on Monday night in Martinsville before playing host to Florida State at Salem Municipal Field on Tuesday. - Staff report
