CYCLE CRASH VICTIM'S CONDITION STILL SERIOUS

A Christiansburg man remains in serious condition almost a month after he was critically injured in a motorcycle crash in Montgomery County.

Robert Leon Howard suffered head injuries when the motorcycle he was riding ran off the Nellies Cave Road and struck a tree April 5.

The motorcycle landed at the bottom of an embankment.

Howard, 23, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, remains in the neuro-intensive care unit at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
