FREE SCREENINGS HELD AT EASTER SEAL OFFICE

The Easter Seal Society of Virginia is sponsoring a community awareness campaign as part of its observance of May as Better Hearing and Speech Month.

Easter Seals will provide free hearing screenings on Thursdays during May from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. at its office at 4841 Williamson Road N.W. No appointment is necessary for the screenings, which last about five minutes.

Preschool speech/language screenings are available for children ages 2-6. The 20-minute screenings are done by appointment only. Interested parents may call 362-1656 for an appointment.
