A foreclosure sale for the Knights Inn motel at Troutville has been canceled after its Ohio owner, Roanoke Motel Ltd., filed for reorganization in an Ohio bankruptcy court, said Michael Pace, trustee.

\ Great Northern Nekoosa Corp. said in a first-quarter report it spent $106.9 million in its unsuccessful defense against acquisition by Georgia-Pacific Corp. G-P on March 8 completed the buyout, which included Great Northern's operation in Bedford County.

\ Subaru of America Inc. on Thursday agreed to a $400 million buyout by the Japanese company that builds and supplies its vehicles, Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. The takeover ends months of speculation over the future of Subaru, whose sales have declined precipitously over the past three years as other companies have begun selling competitive four-wheel-drive cars.
