NORTH CROSS FIELD DAY STARTS FRIDAY

North Cross School's annual fund-raising event, Field Day, will be held May 11-12, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the school.

More than 50 regional artists, including jeweler Peter Wreden and painters Ed Bordett, Marcia McDade, Ernest Johnson, Vera Dickerson, Harriett Stokes, Victor Leitzke, A.L. Feng, Eileen McCaul-Basham and Diane Patton, will display their works. Representatives of Persian Carpet Inc of Durham, N.C., will display antique and new Persian, Indo-Persian, Chinese, Caucasian, Afghan, Turkish and Dhurie rugs.
