'PEACH SKIN' RAINWEAR

Rainwear for men blends fashion with function in outerwear with a new fiber that is gaining popularity. Called "microfiber" or "peach skin," the blend of 85 percent polyester and 15 percent nylon feels like washed silk, looks like suede and promises to be windproof, waterproof (but not necessarily at the seams) and breathable.

Sanyo Fashion House introduced the material in the fall line last year.

Of course, all that quality comes with a price: Sanyo coats cost from $500 to $600. - Los Angeles Daily News
