KEPLEY, CHARLES E.

Charles Everett Kepley, age 94, a 60 year resident of Roanoke, passed away Saturday morning May 5, 1990. He was President of Success Education Association, a former Coucilman of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, a graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne College, Hickory, N.C., where he served on the Development Board and was a graduate of Southern Lutheran Seminary, Columbia, S.C. Surviving are his wife, Juanita D. Kepley, Roanoke; two sons and daughters-in-law, John C. and Mary Elizabeth Kepley; Richard H. and Gail Gray Kepley, all of Roanoke; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Y. Kepley, Anne T. Blackwell; John Charles Kepley, II, Stephen Carter Nave Kepley, Drew Hal Kepley, Charles Gray Kepley, Christopher Lynn Kepley. Funeral services will be conducted at St. Mark's Lutheran Church 10:00 a.m. Tuesday by Dr. Charles W. Easley. Entombment will be at Emanuel United Church of Christ Cemetery, Thomasville, N.C., at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. The family suggests that memorials be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church or the Roanoke Life Saving Crew. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday.
