OBIT BROOKMAN, M.

Mae Tabor Brookman, age 88, of Rt. 2, died Friday, May 4, 1990, in Montgomery Regional Hospital. A graduate of Concord Normal School, she taught school in Mercer County, W.Va., for a number of years. The widow of Ralph William Brookman, she is survived a son and daughter-in-law, Alton D. and Geraldean Brookman, Christiansburg; a daughter, Mildred B. McCoy, Hagerstown, Md.; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday from the graveside in Sunset Cemetery conducted by Mr. Porter Riner. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
