Mary Sue Peters, age 49, died Friday, May 4, 1990. Surviving are two sisters and brothers-in-law, Janet and Butch Blankenship, Ferrum; Linda and J.B. Edwards, Rocky Mount; one brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Judy Peters, Ferrum; three nieces, Sharon and Shelli Blankenship, Emily Edwards; a special aunt, Ora Gillispie; special friends, Iris and Grover Blankenship, Lora Ferguson, and Rachel Poff. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Lynch Chapel with the Rev. Harold Draper officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials may be made to the Franklin County Rescue Squad.
