Mrs. Daisy Young Mullins, age 82, of Route 1, died Saturday, May 5, 1990, in the Franklin Health Care Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Emmett Mullins. Surviving are three daughters and two sons-in-law, Ruby and Euel Emberson, Bassett; Verlie Carter, Ferrum; Hazel and Lewis Thompson, Ferrum; three sons and daughters-in-law, Herman and Eula Mullins, Henry; Clyde and Jean Mullins, Ferrum; Jesse and Gracie Mullins, Rocky Mount; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Tom Bumpus and the Rev. Edwin Moore. Burial will follow in the Antioch Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home in Rocky Mount.
