BOWER, MARY V.

Mary Virginia Bower, age 61, passed away Friday, May 4, 1990, in a Roanoke hospital. She is survived by her husband, Harold E. (Gene) Bower; two daughters, Judy Teresa Steele, Christiansburg; Connie Leigh Miller, Bonney Lake, Wash.; one brother, Robert C. DeWitt, Chicago, Ill.; mother-in-law, Teresa S. (Jackie) Bower, Roanoke; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Stonewall Methodist-Brethren Church with the Rev. John Davenport and the Rev. Elbert Lee Naff officiating. Entombment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at Maberry Funeral Home, Floyd. Flowers will be appreciated or donations may be made to the Stonewall Church.
