PULASKI KILLING SUSPECTS IDENTIFIED

Authorities have identified two suspects in the killing of a Pulaski County man whose bullet-riddled body was found at the base of Gatewood Dam Thursday morning.

Police dispatchers were told Saturday to be on the lookout for two men riding in a 1970s white Chevrolet Nova with a black interior and possibly Tennessee tags.

Police said Timothy Dean Primm, 27, of Route 1, Allisonia, was last seen alive with the two suspects.

His body, which contained eight .22-caliber bullet holes, was found Thursday about 7 a.m. by a hunter who was walking along North Peak Creek at the foot of the dam near the Wythe County line.

One suspect was described as a white male, 5 feet 4 to 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds.

The suspect has red shoulder-length wavy hair, a long red beard and was clean shaven between the beard and sideburns.

The suspect also had the letters H-A-T-E tattooed on the fingers of his left hand and an unknown tattoo on his right hand.

Authorities said he also had the letters, T-O-T, or something similar tattooed on his forehead.

He was last seen wearing a long-sleeve flannel shirt, blue jeans and hiking boots.

The second suspect was described as a white male, 6 feet tall, weighing about 175 pounds, wearing a white T-shirt, camouflage pants and white high-topped tennis shoes.

He also had a browish-red moustache and beard and brown hair parted in the middle.

Primm was found face down at the end of a dirt section of Mount Olivet Road in the Gatewood section of the county about six miles outside the town of Pulaski.

He was lying in a pool of blood at the base of the large concrete dam that retains Gatewood Reservoir, which provides drinking water to the town.

Pulaski police are investigating the shooting because the town owns the property where Primm's body was found.

The rescue squad removed the body about 9 a.m. while police took plaster impressions of tire tracks and scoured the wooded area next to the trout fishing creek for clues.

Buckner and other investigators returned to the site Thursday afternoon with hip waders to search the creek for more clues. Buckner said North Peak Creek is stocked with trout and is a popular fishing spot.
