After spotting Prince William a 1-0 lead, Salem's Rob Bailey singled home the tying run in the fourth inning before the Cannons pulled away.
Bucs starter John Latham (1-2) struggled in the fifth, walking leadoff batter Paul Oster, a .113 hitter. Brad Ausmus followed with a double to score Oster, and J.T. Snow singled in Ausmus.
Prince William drove Latham to the showers in the sixth when he gave up a two-run double to Mauricio Zazueta and Oster beat out an infield single. Brent Honeywell relieved Latham and gave up an RBI single to Andres Rodriguez.
The Cannons added a run in the seventh to extend Salem's losing streak to three games, all in this series.
Bailey had two hits and the only RBI for the Bucs.
Salem swept Prince William in the season's first four games, but the Cannons have a chance to even the score today in the series finale. Right-hander Paul Miller (0-1, 2.91 ERA) goes for the Bucs against right-hander Jim Wiley (0-1, 4.63).
