OBIT HAUPT, L.

Lois Marie Bowling Haupt, age 70, of Blue Ridge, passed away Monday in a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her mother, Clara Elizabeth Bowling; a brother, Jonna L. Bowling; and a daughter, June Irene Haupt. Surviving are her husband, Walter A. Haupt; four sons, Walter W. (Bill) Haupt, Blue Ridge; George M. Haupt, Roanoke; SSG Joseph A. Haupt, Fort Bragg, N.C.; Charles E. Haupt, Blue Ridge; one daughter, Mrs. Joan M. Radcliff, Blue Ridge; one sister, Mary B. McBride, Rocky Mount; eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 1990, from the Colonial Baptist Church, the Rev. Terry L. McBride and the Rev. Carl L. Goodman will officiate. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Friends may call at Lotz Vinton Chapel.
